What does this word mean to us? Many things, in fact.
Forgotten memories, words, desires...
Forgotten past.
It is the year 2095 and humans are a thing of this past, but what they did will always persist in the memories who know.
Year: 2016
"This is Barack Obama, announcing from all possible media that World War Three has started... *zzzt* nuclear weapons can be seen about to lift off... *zzzt* Take shelter with your loved ones.... *zzzt* may God bless the United States of America."
World War Three has started. All the nations are at war and they have their best nuclear weapons about to launch to their objectives. Troops are moving in quickly and the world is in tension. Even the skies have turned gray and the birds have stopped singing. Bombing begins and quickly the governments forget about the millions of innocent lives that are being killed by the minute. People panic, run away, yet the attacks world wide are too heavy. Animals have hidden well, yet many have been also killed in the war. Days pass and nights light up like daylight due to heavy bombing.
Year: 2017
Fifty-percent of the world population has been eliminated due to the never ending war. Scientists are working hard on developing a faster method to cure wounds on soldiers so they can recover quickly and return to war. They create a vaccine, called AX75, and began secretly testing on the soldiers themselves. Soldiers developed quick healing of insanely profound wounds, but as a side effect they started to have extreme seizures and suddenly they turned insane and developed rabid-like behaviors. Cannibalism became something of everyday events. Slowly, the human race began to disappear. Animals were well hidden in forests and caverns, just waiting.
Year: 2018
A series of nukes killed the human race. The radiation in the air would do some changes in the animals of the area. Humans are now officially extinct. Animals are slowly coming out of their nervous state; lions are walking on bridges, wolves are hiding on houses and gazelles are running freely on the freeways. Animals that were on zoos escape, adding to the diversity of animals in the barren land.
Year: 2020
Wolves have decided to move along into the cities. What was California and part of Canada became Eiran. They made themselves home. The wolves became the dominant species out of all the bunch. They began to expand Eiran's territory, and divided the land in two; Thessa and Keron. As the wolves grew in number, they worked together to expand and explore their territory, forgetting about the pack formation in order to claim as much as possible. They were taking back what humans took from them.
Year: 2025
Animals began developing intricate markings and bright, unnatural colors due to the radiation. Wolves created the territories that Eiran has today. Fenrir and Denar appeared, forming two lands. They kept expanding and they are still doing so; yet, expanding was on hold in this year--a sudden earthquake of magnitude 8.5 in Richter scale shook the land of Eiran and the entire continent. Almost all the buildings due to the rust fell down and many animals died in the process. The panorama was a complete disaster, yet animals didn't loose hope. Wolves went in search of survivors and brought them back to Eiran.
Year: 2045
Vegetation has been quickly regaining its strength and buildings and cities are now ruins. Animals have developed a complex hierarchy and community. Eiran has expanded into territories; Thessa, Denar, Fenrir, Keron, Sarael, Eron, Titan and Ikari.
Year: 2085
The lands of Eiran are now filled with nature and only occasional human architecture can be spotted. Animals coexist yet the balance of life must be followed. Wolf packs have formed and disbanded in these forty years, yet peace have reigned in Eiran.
Year: 2095 - CURRENT.
Eiran keeps expanding and territories must be defended...
Peace reigns once more.
We sometimes tell others about our past.
Yet, somehow we feel we are not prepared for the future. Now, packs are forming, new ideals are emerging, rivals are appearing, fights over territories are every-day bread.
Now, what happens from now on depends on you!
