Alpha
The head of the symbolic body of the pack. The alpha is the most respected member in the pack and it can be a solo alpha or an alpha pair. They delegate tasks on other members and accept or exile members into or out of packs. They decide whether if the pack goes into war or not. They also test new members in special occasions.
Beta
Betas are the right paw of the alphas. They do whatever the alphas can't do at that moment. They are highly trusted by the alphas and higher ranked wolves; they even have the permission to accept members into a pack, yet they have to bring them over to the alphas for them to test. If the alpha cannot test them at that time, the beta does the job.
Elders
You can't be an elder by acceptance, just by being in a pack long enough for you to be considered wise about the pack. An elder is the voice of experience in the pack. Elders are commonly old alphas, old wolves those wolves who won their spots in these ranks.
Warrior Chief
The lead warrior; he or she will be the one to guide the troops at war. He or she will take the decisions regarding the actions that the troop will make. He or she has to be a strong wolf, determined and with a love of war. He or she has to be wise regarding decisions, because the lives of the warriors will be in his or her paws. They are quick, strong, agile, and filled with techniques.
Hunter Chief
The hunter chief will make the decisions of the hunting area of the pack. He or she will be in charge of the hunt groups, delegating tasks unto them while hunting.
Seer
Not every pack has one, because seers are hard to come by. However, the seer's task is to advise the Alpha pair when s/he has seen any vision or read anything in the stars.
Healer
The Healer is the wolf responsible of the health of the pack. He heals injured wolves and delegates on the herb seekers for special herbs and things he or she may need. This wolf must have a vast knowledge of healing plants, and a great knowledge of wolf health. He may or may not even assist a wolf while giving birth, if the pregnant wolf desires so. They are highly respected and admired for their wisdom.
Warriors
They are the military of the pack, so to speak. They respond to the Alpha and to the Warrior Chief, and they are diligently trained by the Warrior Chief. They are the ones that give up their lives in safety of the other pack members. Wolves in this position must have keen fighting skills, cunning reflexes and strong builds.
Hunters
They are the most important members of the pack after the higher ranks, because they seek out the food of the pack. They are never a limit in hunters, and they must be fast, strong and agile, and will be trained by the Hunter Chief.
Herb Seekers
Herb seekers are wolves with a great knowledge of plant life work under the Healer. They go and seek out the things that the Healer needs in order to save a life. Limit: 4 seekers
Spies
Not every pack has spies. A spy's job consists of scouting out new land, spying on other packs to learn behavior, or anything else the alpha wants to know about them, and finding loners outside the territory to join the pack, or to simply help them fight.
Deltas
These are regular pack members. Everyone starts out as a delta. You can work your way up the ladder, or prove your worth of another rank such as hunter or warrior to the alpha.
Pups
Any pups in the pack. Remember that the alpha has control over who has pups and has the right to kill any pups. Do not join a pack that does not allow it unless you want your pups to die.
Omegas
Omegas are the lowest members of the pack. Depending on the views of the pack these wolves are made up of either simply weak or physically injured wolf, or they can be bastard pups or anyone else that the pack feels is of a lower status than normal wolves.
